My experience as a Graphic Designer at indeHealth
about indehealth & my role
indeHealth is a health startup that aims to increase access and understanding of healthcare to college students. As many people know, working in a startup involves a lot of interdisciplinary collaboration and the opportunity to wear many hats. I was primarily a graphic designer but I also aided the business development team & product team. I oversaw and executed all external graphic design deliverables for the company, ensuring a consistent and cohesive visual presence across various platforms and mediums.

I learned a lot while working at indeHealth. Working in a startup, there are a multitude of opportunities where I had to learn how things worked by getting my hands dirty and figuring it out on my own. The three projects that offered the most learning were the email newsletter, website redesign, and the several video production projects I had to complete. I was extremely grateful for this rapid learning process because as a result I was able to discover areas of design that I came to love like web design.
I learned a lot while working at indeHealth. Working in a startup, there are a multitude of opportunities where I had to learn how things worked by getting my hands dirty and figuring it out on my own. I was extremely grateful for this rapid learning process because as a result I was able to discover areas of design that I came to love like web design.
Email Newsletter
Employed Mailerlite to craft monthly newsletters for 300+ readers, enhancing brand presence and maintaining a 35% open rate.
Website Redesign
Utilized Webflow and then Framer to redesign the company website from scratch.
Video Production
Led video production process, creating engaging content to educate viewers on our products and enhance brand promotion efforts.

Below are two representative videos showcasing my efforts to elevate our brand and offer audiences a glimpse into our products' value. One video features an interview with the CEO and Founder, aiming to give the brand a human touch and foster a more inviting atmosphere for potential customers. The second video, created entirely with motion graphics, highlights the challenges the UniHealth App strives to address for students and demonstrates the integral role the product plays in delivering solutions.

Learning Website design
Before indeHealth, I didn't think much of my web design skills. But when I was asked to redesign the company website using Webflow, I spent a lot of time learning the software and improved my abilities. I used Figma for the initial designs and then moved on to Webflow. It became an incredibly rewarding process because it aligned with my love for problem-solving. Fixing bugs and creating a responsive website was an exciting challenge.
Later, I discovered Framer, which is an easier-to-use website builder. I did another redesign using Framer, and it was a much smoother experience because I could start from scratch, had more experience, and Framer was similar to Figma's user experience. I'm now proud to say that I am able to design and create websites when I previously couldn't.
